After g.o.d. (지오디) released their long-awaited comeback in May this year, they’re releasing another single to solidify their status as one of the legendary groups in the K-pop industry.
g.o.d., which stands for Groove Over Dose, is one of the few groups that has sold a million albums during their time.
After the release of their last album in 2005, members Son Ho Young, Kim Tae Woo, Danny Ahn, Park Joon Hyung, and Yoon Kye Sang have gone their separate ways to pursue solo careers.
But when the group reunited and released the track “The Lone Duckling” on May 8, in a span of 2 hours, the song ranked first on ten music charts.
Long time fans of the group will notice that they’ve still got it.
Watch out for their second single, “Sky Blue Promise”, as they release it tomorrow. Here’s a preview of their new single.
Their new album will be released on digital July 8 and will be available the next day. They will perform on July 12 and 13 at Seoul’s Olympic Complex as their comeback concerts.
