On May 31st, Big Bang member Daesung was caught up in a car accident that resulted in the death of one motorcyclist. According to Osen News, the incident has finally come to a conclusion with the victim’s family deciding not to press charges against the popular entertainer.

An anonymous source had this to say, ”Today Daesung and the victim’s family reached a settlement. The victim’s family expressed its desire not to have Daesung serve any punishment. They said they felt sympathy for Daesung and told him not to be agonized over the issue. The victim’s family also encouraged him to continue showing good performances.”

With YG Entertainment and the victim’s family both reaching a settlement, it is a relief for most fans. But for Daesung, the physical and emotional stress he has gone through for the past two months is probably more than what most people can deal with. Luckily, he has had support from everyone around him.

While Daesung most likely won’t return on stage until 2012, his comeback appearance will be an emotional one for both him and fans alike.
