75 Years of Jack Purcell Converse

September 3, 2010 AX3 Comments

Jack Purcell Converse has hit its 75th anniversary mark. This 75th anniversary collection is inspired by the 1930s Jack Purcell designs but with an updated design and techniques. The original Johnny shoe is also re-launched (which first appeared in the 30s) and given treatments like broguing, shoe-polished leathers, and a range of garment dyed colors. The fall season’s collection offers a clean, bold style amplifying the Jack Purcell history. The shoes have a hand-crafted look and feel to it, premium linings, comfortable food beds, and of course, the iconic smiling toe.
