Zhang Chengdong (张呈栋), a Chinese striker who plays for União Leiria, made his debut in the Portuguese Liga when he started on Sunday August 29′s game against SC Olhanense. Zhang played full match but his team lost 1-0 to SC Olhanense with Pinoto’s early 18th minute goal. Zhang Chengdong played for China once in the friendly game against Portugal. Currently there are three Chinese players in the Portuguese Liga and they are former Manchester United striker Dong Fangzhuo, Wang Gang, and Zhang Chengdong.
